Sweetened condensed milk can be used for most things, not minimal of which is homemade coffee creamer , and delicious poke cakes (more on those in upcoming posts). But the genuine reason I wanted my own sweetened condensed dairy recipe is because I’ve a recipe approaching for Almond Joy Cookies ! Oh yes, you examine that correctly!
That formula will not be live until in a few days (isn’t it awful of me to tease you?), but I wanted to go on and cauliflower risotto offer you this recipe so you can be testing it from whatever yumminess your center can be desiring! (The Almond Joy Cookie Recipe is here !)
I know there are lots of low carb, sugar-free sweetened condensed dairy recipes, but I needed one of my very own therefore i could refer back to it in potential recipes. This one is a winner in my book! And as an added bonus, it only needs 3 ingredients!
Only a note to the wise – please do not walk out of the area and leave your simmering pot of condensing dairy” for the stove. It may boil over voraciously and cause your 7 calendar year old little girl to come screaming into the following room. (I might or may not did this). Ok, I DID do it and it made a huge clutter! Whew! Glad we got that out of the way!
Place all substances in a mid-sized saucepan over moderate heat.
Bring to a boil, then reduce high temperature and simmer until decreased by nearly half, stirring several times to avoid scorching.
This will take between 15-20 minutes.
The finish product ought to be thick and gooey (and delicious)!
Makes approximately 1 glass of Sweetened Condensed Dairy.

The thm world is certainly going crazy with this with holiday baking! I am getting excited about trying it.
We am wondering easily might use it to make hard chewy caramels…i might need to play, but I understand the (whole sugar) caramels I made this past year had sweetened condensed milk…wondering if I could combine this with the recipe for caramel. Hmmmmm
Mine was in a fairly hard simmer/low boil for approximately 30 minutes as well as the regularity was best!! I ended up with about 1 1/4 cups, so I figure I could have decreased that down a bit more. Used to do add a little bit of vanilla once i took it off the heat = heaven 🂠Thanks a lot for the great recipe!
