This has been the best delicious indulgence in the last week…
I’ve used the last of my freezing bananas, so this luxurious delight will right now come to an end.
1 frozen banana, sliced up into small parts with a sharp knife
1/2 cup coconut milk
1 Tablespoon cocoa powder
3 crushed ice
1 egg yolk, cauliflower risotto recipe optional
small couple of chopped macadamia nuts , optional
Place everything, except for the macadamia nut products into your blender, I take advantage of my Magic Bullet (this is my Amazon . com affiliate link) Blend until completely blended. If using the Magic Bullet you may want to remove it from the motor foundation and tremble the cup a few times to combine everything up. Add the macadamia nut products after thoroughly blended. I really like the mouth feel of nuts in snow cream. This is a delicious replacement for snow cream, I’d never miss ice cream again as long as I could possess this.
Let me understand if you get a chance to try it. 🙂 When you click on this image, my Amazon affiliate link will need you to Amazon . com to check out these gorgeous soda pop fountain glasses.

Off to share on FB … hugs,
@Shirley @ gfe , ha! I couldn’t get yourself a very good photo of it in my Magic Bullet! The photo held coming out super blurry and or overwhite so I finally chosen the bowl. 🙂 I do usually eat it with a spoon using the Magic Bullet blender cup. 🙂 Sooooo yummy! UPDATE: 1-9-12 Finally produced the shake once again, this time around photographed using an appropriate vessel for a shake”.
@Kristina , I am hoping one day soon you’ll be able to try it. crossing fingers
@Meghan , hmmm… sounds very yummy, thanks for posting your version around! 🙂
@Martha , awesome! I am considering causeing this to be for a delicacy on Christmas Day and will take a fresh photo, in a milkshake type cup. 🙂
We’ve been producing a variety of version of this one for years (I made the very first attempt in 1999… long before Spaces!). The key is the iced, sliced up banana – you are able to do almost anything with it.
The most simple version (that still tastes and feels as though icecream): Put the frozen bananas in the mixer – and mix. You must stop a few times to scrape it from the insides of the bowl to maintain mixing. Nonetheless it will turn out like clean, solid icecream, and it tastes quite different from a banana as if you know it.
The way we ensure it is most often nowadays is with egg yolks and omega oils, a dash of honey and some vanilla powder. Whenever we need a tremble we add drinking water. Think it’s great. And thanks for spreading the term Starlene!
