Football season is here now, and I have no idea about you but I’m interested in the snacks as opposed to the game. When I had the chance to partner with Pillsbury to build a Snackadium using their crescent rolls & pizza dough, I was totally in!
Thus I began my mission: throwing the best football party with copious amounts of snack foods, dips, brown butter cookies, meatballs, wings and just about anything you can think about.
Ohhhhh yeah.
Right now you’re probably thinking what I did to create this ultimate party, and it’s really simple really: I built a snackdium (soccer stadium crafted from food) together with my pool table. Obviously a very important thing to recognized to men who love food.
I’m not really kidding. Building stuff + food + soccer + brown butter cookies = a man’s favorite thing. Promise.
Right now I didn’t believe building a genuine stadium full of food would be easy access, therefore rather I made a buffet design football field.
Do you see how excited these folks are?! They are thinking of buffalo chicken wings, Chex combine, and Pillsbury Cresent Rolls. They are going to dream about potato chips and guacamole and pretzels stuffed with cheese all night long.
Because really, who can even consider football when you’re able to come up with something this awesome? Check it out:
We started by rolling away green paper towel over the pool table and used white tape to help make the football field lines. For the lover stands we cut styrofoam and wrapped it in foil. There’s also an awesome goal post, that is made out of paper towel pipes colored with structure paper. This is all completely easy and can be create on any desk!
By the way don’t forget to browse the awesome pig and potted vegetation in the background behind the target post. I think we were taking a tropical theme… you understand with wintery pine trees.
That was a joke so laugh!
Anyway after our initial set up was complete, we started adding snacks and delicious small fans made out of cheese, olives, and pickles.
I kept taking in the fans who were supposed to represent the Packers and Vikings. They appeared tasty.
Now a celebration wouldn’t really be considered a party without some Pillsbury Crescent Pet dogs!
…And a super lazy dog in the backdrop. She’s on a diet.
Oh and I cannot your investment Beer-Cheese Stuffed Preztels made out of Pillsbury Pizza Dough ! They smelt like a ballpark; I kept wanted to stay my head within the oven and inhale the fresh dough baking! The very best part? These were so easy to create!
Looking for more delicious video game time dips to go with your pretzels, chips, and also fruit? Here you go:
For the primary courses, we produced sandwiches with deli meats, a number of cheeses, and spreads. Although you might have a ‘make your personal sandwich’ station as well!
The sandwiches were placed on top of the styrofoam and stacked for easy grabbing access!
Oh and obviously to toss the ultimate soccer party, you will need buffalo wings! My godfather includes a top secret recipe that everyone often devours! They’re INCREDIBLE!
We also had BBQ meatballs!
And more Asian style wings!
Now for your other snack foods and primary party food, I actually highly recommend the next:
A fruit and/or veggie tray to maintain it healthy.
Now once the snackadium was complete, it was awesome! Everybody was prepared to dig in!
We had Thus much fun! If you are looking to have an awesome football party with plenty of delicious meals, try creating a snackadium! Your guests will be your biggest enthusiasts!
