Omg omg! Could this breads be any more delicious? I know it seems silly but I possibly could seriously write you paragraphs about how much I really like this breads. How damp, flavorful and remarkably healthy it really is. And yessss!Free Images : wood, food, produce, baking, bread, knife ... it’s gluten free and paleo (if you omit the chocolate chips).
While shopping within my supermarket obsession, also known as Investor Joe’s, I stumbled upon the beloved coconut flour again. In the event that you remember some of my 1st posts, I produced these coconut flour waffles and last year these delicious coconut flour bars Since then a lot of you requested even more coconut flour quality recipes, so I believed I’d begin by tinkering with banana bread – a favorite in almost any household.
First, why bake with coconut flour? It’s incredibly high in fibers; we’re discussing 5-6 grams per 2 tablespoons. Crazy great, right? It also contains healthy fat and is considerably low in digestible carbs than almost every other flours.
Secondly, let’s possess a quick chat about coconut flour and substitutions. I obtain asked all the time whether it’s possible to replacement coconut flour instead of whole wheat grains, or vise versa. The solution is no! A minimum of not 1:1 in any case. Cococnut flour is unique for a couple factors: it’s incredibly absorbent; this means you will not need to work with a lot. Typically I’ll use 1/2 cup of coconut flour for each and every 1 cup of flour; it can vary with every recipe though so be cautious. Coconut flour takes a Large amount of liquid. Personally, i think you need to stick to recipes that call for coconut flour instead trying to substitute.
Finally, onto banana breads heaven!
Some tips about what you obtain: no refined sugars (minus delicious chocolate chips), simply no butter, no regular flour; as I mentioned before, it’s gluten free of charge and paleo as well! 138 calories and nearly 4g of fibers isn’t too shabby either for a heavy slice either. Although I always eat two.
Hope you men love this one! Make sure to label #ambitiouskitchen on Instagram therefore i can easily see what you’re cooking and cooking food. xoxo!

Just wished to add I did get this to. I subbed applesauce for the almond butter and zylitol for the honey. It really is cheesecake gluten free without the crust amazing!!! Therefore delish!!
The flavor of the banana loaf is pretty awesome. I utilized half the honey but everything else was because the recipe called for.
I actually checked the loaf at 25 mins on the other hand at 35. After that left it in for another 20 considering, it must be done right now- the toothpick arrived clean. I took it out of the range and was going to transfer it to a cooling rack nonetheless it totally fell apart. The inside was smooth and damp. It’s back in the oven now.
I tried a bit of the cooked top and it’s unquestionably delicious!!! Ideally it’ll keep cooking food and set therefore i can enjoy even more of it!
Also used chocolates espresso potato chips…highly recommend.
Hi,
Can I use this recipe for muffins? If so would the bake time or temperature transformation?

Made this last week for my co-workers and it proved SO BOMB. My co workers liked it ….I needed made a zuchinni loaf of bread before this and it turned out really spongey therefore i hesitated prior to making this bread. But it was so moist and delicious.
I ommited the chocolate chips because I did not have any nonetheless it was still amazing. And love that it only offers two eggs inside it. And I also used peanut butter instead of almond butter and it proved great.
Hi Monique!
Mine also looked like it was under cooked after i took it out of the range, but once it had been completely cool it was delicious! A lot more so the following day! I used hazelnut butter instead of almond butter and didn’t put in any chocolate chips.
Hi,
First time struggling one of your recipe. I have started a whole 30 in just a few days ago and wanted some great concepts. I didn’t utilize the chocolates chips. It simply came out from the oven ( I added 20 min) and it is merely DELICIOUS !!!! So tasty Will make it once again. Can’t wait for the kids to try it tomorrow morning.
I actually made this formula as written except as 12 muffins rather than a loaf as I do not need a great background with food preparation loaves of quick breads without some kind of natural episode. The muffins arrived amazing! I utilized foil liners sprayed with oil and there is zero issue with sticking.
Tastes ridiculously yummy
We just think it’s great.
Hi Monique,
I’m from Switzerland and I love your blog as well as your recipes!
I simply made your banana bread yesterday evening and had it for breakfast time this morning!Royalty Free Food Stock Photos | rawpixel Following exact your instructions, it turned out to perfection, just a little damp but still crumbly. I added a tsp of cocoa powder as I didn’t acquired any choclate chips in my pantry! With a little bit of almond butter on top an absolute treat! Actually my picky two season old son liked the chocolate wedding cake” ;)!
OMG!! Delicious!!
Just made this afternoon. I used my blender rather than my mixing machine as I prefer the bananas all puréed. I made exactly like the formula with gluten-free/dairy-free chocolate chips (Enjoy Life).
Will definitely make this again (and again)!
We made this today which is mindblowing. I added extra cinnamon (because I usually do) and about two tablespoons of coconut sugar (because my bananas weren’t as overripe as I would have loved).
I ate half the loaf hot out of the oven, I’m embarrassed to admit. It’s that great! It’s just like the moistest banana loaf of bread pudding you’ve ever endured.
Is utilizing the electric mixer necessary or may i whisk it by hand next time?
Idk what went wrong, We followed everything to a tee” and after 30, 40, 45 mins it still wasn’t done! At 30 mins I visited put on a rack and the whole thing fell aside and the inside was liquidy!
I was thus excited to try this with the amount of good reviews.
Followed directions EXACTLY – didn’t raise whatsoever! (used only elements & as instructed).
However, after many hours of research there are many ‘want to understand’ points when dealing w/coconut flour & after following a couple of these & the coconut mama’s” recipe, I’ve a pleasant loaf!
Hi,
what may i replacement for almond butter? I can’t stand any nut spreads.
So healthy! I’ll certainly make again.
