I actually purchased an Ostrich egg from Whole Foods. What?! I understand. The egg is usually larger than my head, price $30 dollars, and could quite possibly feed a family the size of the Duggars. Soo… are you currently hungry?

Thanks for visiting the world of Monique where We impulse grocery store and talk about things which are just strange. Apparently I had been utterly captivated by this egg. I’m not sure what I’ll perform with it now. Probably an Easter egg hunt? I would totally be thrilled to get an egg the size of my head.
Real talk: if you are having breakfast this weekend, you probably shouldn’t help to make an ostrich egg scramble. Don’t make a formula you found on the back of a box either! They actually never turn out that great.
What you should do is this: Make comfort food and a distinctive banana bread. Conserve the donuts for the kiddos. Drink espresso and new grapefruit mimosas Mouth watering.
I’m a firm believer that banana breads is always well worth the excess lunges. But Personally i think a lot better consuming it when I know it isn’t going right to my thighs. This banana breads is quite healthful and extra moist from the coconut. Alright… I confess I added white chocolate chips to the recipe, but what else was I likely to do? White chocolates and macadamia nut products make everything memorable. The toasted coconut on top…
Inhale the bread and you’ll number it out.
Now before We forget, I’d like to announce the champion of the iTunes giftcard from this post Congrats Jess, I’ll be emailing you shortly! I had been so pleased to read about your favorite things. Turns out the majority of you prefer slim mints, honey graham crackers, and you’re crushing on the brand new Gotye song.
Recipe by Monique of Ambitious Kitchen
1 teaspoon cooking powder
1 tablespoon of melted butter (if desired)
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 egg whites
2 tablespoons skim milk or milk alternative (almond, soy, coconut)
½ cup + 3 tablespoons sweetened flaked coconut
½ cup chopped macadamia nuts
½ cup white chocolates chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Whisk flour, cooking powder, baking soda together in large mixing bowl. In another large bowl combine mashed bananas, melted butter, brownish sugar, and vanilla. Add egg whites, yogurt, and orange juice; blending together until just combined and moist.
Add in flour and combine until moist. With regards to the consistency you can add 2 tablespoons of skim milk. (I do). If you like your bread even more thick than omit the milk, but if you like it even more airy or lighter you can include it.
Softly fold in ½ cup of coconut, white chocolate chips, and macadamia nuts into batter. Pour into a greased 9×5 in . loaf skillet. Sprinkle the remaining 3 tablespoons of coconut at the top. Bake for 50-60 mins or until toothpick comes out clean and the loaf of bread is golden brown.
Another option: Alternative ½ glass of regular flour with whole wheat grains
I think we have to visit a picture from the egg…
