I don’t know?
When I’m not speaking my feelings, I might be eating them. It occurs; you may be able to connect. And do you know what? It’s flawlessly normal to accomplish it every once in a while.
Last week I ate a whole bag of popcorn because We didn’t want to take into account my to-do list because it seemed unmanageable; like if I even looked at it I might cry because I simply didn’t know where to start. Therefore, I went to the shop and bought a bag of popcorn. Achieved it make me feel much better? Sure! Was it great? Definitely! I ate my feelings and the overwhelming thoughts went away.
For some time, anyway.
I thought for a while and realized that We shouldn’t waste my period worrying about the what-ifs and items which are completely away from my control. What I should be focusing on is the little moments, filling up my heart with joy and embracing what comes my way. I can just do so much. Eating my feelings shouldn’t turn into a habit.
So I told myself that everything was going to be okay. That no real matter what occurs, it will likely be alright. Consuming my emotions wasn’t likely to get my dishes performed, clean my house or discover me a fresh one in Chicago. The popcorn was never likely to resolve anything because it couldn’t speak or do anything for me. It had been pointless problem solving.
Which means this past week I made conscious effort to start out my days out happy. I produced the choice to try and do a few small stuff on my to-do list every single day. It’s produced an enormous difference. I’m selecting to change! I also affiliate pancakes with my Dad and childhood, so cooking up a batch each day brings me only great warm fuzzy emotions. For reals. Discuss a disposition booster.
In addition, I’m a huge fan of chai-spice and it’s really so easy to recreate the spices in the home. All you have to is just a little cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, nutmeg and cloves. Mmmm hmmm… can you imagine these combined with a chai-spice latte?
Begin your weekend out with warm fuzzy feel great feelings from these sweet potato pancakes. Best topped with toasted pecans and a drizzle of real maple syrup. Enjoy!
