Some time ago, Tony and I had the chance to visit Pensacola, Florida where we had the absolute BEST truffle fries on the planet. The heavenly popular fries were filled with garlic and truffle taste, melted in the mouth area and had this beautiful crusty golden external that I just couldn’t overcome.
I finally reached my French fry heaven. Among my weaknesses in existence. Yours too?
Great, because I’ve got the very best baked french fries on earth for you to devour…
After tasting the golden brown crispy little loves in Pensacola, I fell head over heels for truffle oil. Actually, I ended up purchasing a bottle of truffle oil just therefore i could recreate the fries in the home! My version calls for baking instead of frying, which makes them a lot lighter in calorie consumption in fats, but not at all flavor.
Also, when did the standard old potato become this kind of bad thing? I LOVE POTATOES. And I really like french fries.
The secret to crispy, golden goodness? Adding just a little parmesan to the fries before cooking. It blends using the oil and sticks to the fries, so not only can it put in a crispiness like no various other but you obtain extra flavor too!
For this version, I used Go Veggie’s parmesan , which is lovely if you have tummy issues or are lactose free. They also have a vegan edition that completely Stones.
Lastly, if you cannot find truffle oil near you you can order it online right here , or simply skip it and use olive oil instead of the truffle oil. Either way, these fries will be FANTASTIC.
I would recommend serving these with bunless burgers, grilled poultry or fish, or simply as an appetizer for noshing about! Hope you LOVE.

Arrange fries in the two ready baking sheets in order that none from the fries are touching. This will allow them to crisp up while they bake. Spray the top from the people from france fries with a little olive oil cooking aerosol (canola also functions). Put in place oven, baking bed sheets hand and hand, and bake for 20 minutes, then flip fries over with a metallic spatula and rotate the pans. Bake for 15-20 even more minutes and flip again if necessary to brown all sides of the fries.
Once fries are fine and golden dark brown, remove in the oven and invite to cool about baking sheets for 5 minutes. Then drizzle a little extra truffle essential oil on top and garnish with extra parmesan, cilantro or parsley. Season with additional sodium and pepper, if you want! Serves with lots of ketchup or your preferred dipping sauce. Serves 4 people.
Unless you have truffle oil, it is possible to simply use olive oil instead.
